It's not the nicest, newest, or prettiest car I've ever owned. It has many small flaws through out the car, but it's pretty sound mechanically, and the turbo system works extremely well. What it is, is the fastest, most powerful, and most fun car I've ever owned. It has full boost around 3500 RPM. What that means is a very smooth, robust powerband. This is a street car. The AWD system works phenominally. I can accelerate full throttle at a 90 degree turn from a full stop and the car sticks to the ground like it's on rails. My stock RWD E30 with 60 less HP couldn't dare do that, even on the hottest days. The mods were performed by the previous owner, but it is slowly becoming my own as I maintain it myself and plan future upgrades and replacement parts for different components. It's all a matter of time and money. The Important part is that it'll get you where you want to go. Extremely quickly if you so desire. I've been driving slow sports cars, like Miata's and stock E30's for over 5 years now. It's nice to have a car that is faster than 95% of anything I'll ever see on the road. The car is currently limited to 240HP by the stock clutch, running at about 8PSI. I need to be easy on the revs as whenever I exceed that limit the clutch starts slipping. I look forward to upgrading to a stage 1 or stage 2 clutch as soon as I get out of basic training and tech school with the Air Force. I expect that will give me at least another 20 usable HP. Too bad AWD dyno's are so rare and expensive.
