This ol' car ....
This was my '98 aCCent I bought in May 1998. I knew absolutely nothing about cars and a Hyundai dealership had just opened in the small city I was from. It was my first 'stick shift' and I made monthly payments on it by earing $0.05 per 'click' on my South Park website I ran at the time as well as delivering pizza parttime while in college. The racing stripe I had put on by Chris at Sign Warehouse. It was inspired by british racing cars...ironically, the official color of my car was British Racing Green. The racing stripe didn't come right away... in fact a spash on each side of the car with "Kick Ass" written above the splash as well as on the top of the windshield.... this was my tribute to South Park... which was helping pay for it lol.
Going back to Friday, May 8th 1998 and Dad had picked the car up on his way home from the office. He drove back to CFB Chatham base and we changed seats and he taught me how to drive the 5 speed. Reverse was tricky but I seemed to get the hang of it rather quickly.... and on to the build!
