This is my 1970 Plymouth Satellite, Planet Claire. I named her that after hearing a line from a B-52's song of the same title: "She drove a Plymouth Satellite faster than the speed of light..."
I've owned this car for 16 years and she's barely given me a bit of trouble. The car is pretty much all stock except for the new engine that's being dropped into her as I type this. It's a 318 automatic. The exterior paint is the original greenish-gold, and the interior is dark green with lighter green accents on the door panels, and all windows are stock "green-glass" tint. She's got Magnum 500 wheels with chrome trim rings and caps. Apparently this year/model of Satellite is getting to be a rarity nowadays, judging by the amount of offers I get for the car whenever I take her out! I LOVE this car, can you tell?
