My baby got cosmetically totaled, and sliced open when driving onto a freeway on ramp when it was pitch black outside.
A solid steel tractor trailer ramp was sticking out halfway into my lane at a 45 degree angle, and as soon as I rounded the blind turn to the on-ramp I did not have any time to avoid it along with the traffic behind me to my right made for an unsafe predicament in more than one way.
I swerved as best as I could, but it still made contact and took out my driver's side halo headlight clean through, with the corner of the ramp slicing down my whole left panels and doors opening it up like a tin can. Luckily it went hardly contested through my front wheel well, and didn't slice through my door completely. Just the outer shell of it.
But it is now totaled, and I will sure miss the times that I had with this car.
