Snow all cleaned off and a parking spot shoveled out for it! (The poor 68 Vista wagon, behind me, is hibernating for the winter, Lol) Now, for where to go from here? Last summer I built another 350 to drop into it this spring. I took the Tbi 350 from an '87 and rebuilt it using the '97 camaro rotating assembly and a performance camshaft. Nothing serious, I just wanted to rebuild it now and get a solid base and camshaft into it first(later I'll add nice heads). I've replaced a few interior parts that were missing or broken: passenger door handle was worn and would barely open unless yanked on, the driver's side mirror had it's cover broken and just laying on the mirror itself, the passenger cupholder was missing(my passengers whined a lot without one Lol), there were no floormats so those had to be added and the ignition switch had to be replaced in its old age, causing all sorts of electrical problems. The 4wd won't engage either so it's also going to get fixed asap. The '95 k1500 also had a recall for the wiper motor because it had bad soldering and would cause the wipers to occasionally work or not at all(worked if they felt like it...). So, I had my local Chevy dealer replace that and now they're working 100% of the time. My plans for the truck are getting: the all chrome bumper for the front, bull bar or just a light bar for the front with 4 lights, vertical billet grille insert, black halo headlights with black LED turnsignals, tinted side windows, 2" black fender flares, roll bar with lights, low profile bug deflector, a set of 18's from the new 2007 and up Silverados, redo the old rusting exhaust, fix the cab of it's dent, and replace the box because of it's dents. All of that is just what's off the top of my head, the rest will be afterthoughts.NEW TIRES R HERE!
