I'm 16 and recently bought a light yellow 1985 camro with a 2.8 V6. The body is in pretty good shape except for a small rust spot the size of a cue ball. The interior is in really good shape. The seats are brown vinyl, and the only problem is a little wear and tear on the driver's seat. It's got a series 80 flowmaster muffler on it. The woman who I bought it off of also put in a Pioneer CD Player. A middle aged woman has been babying this car for a while now and it only has 97k miles on it. When I first saw it I knew I was in love. I have always wanted a third generation camaro and here was my chance. It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it will probably be easier on my wallet with the bad gas milage especially being my only street legal vehicle at the moment. I will try to update this page as much as I can and try to get some pics on here. Any adivse would be appreciated. I recently realized sometihng about the color I want to paint my car. The interior is brown vinyl and no matter how bad I want silver paint the interior will ruin the look. So I have decided to go with black. Don't forget to sign my guest book.
UPDATE:
Well the car is sitting in my garage and I can't drive it because I am told that the conector rod(s) are/is no good. My engine sounds like a cross between an empty spray can being shaken and a hand full of marbles being dropped into a blender set to liquify. I wasn't even beating on her. I only drove her about 120 miles and half of that is the drive home hoping the engine didn't crap out cause it sure sounded like it was going to. So I am going to order an engine off a GM parts site, or buy one out of a junk yard just to get by. I don't have a lot of money. I only make roughly 200 a week and can't really afford much. I don't want to stick with the 2.8 but I also don't want to have to change the tranny to put it in a bigger engine plus the labor on account of I wouldn't know where to start. Any advise at this point is crutial to my decisions going towards to the progress of my car.
