Here is some new information about the new Pacesetter Headers that are going to be readly avilable throughout pacesetter dealers... Read about the information, that I have compiled on my own install of these new headers.

Well Well... I finally got everything all worked out... With Pacesetter and my scanning system, I had 3 computers working at once to them all here. The reason I have the Gen 2 is because I went through a warranty exchange, my rear header didn't line up properly with the y-pipe, I had about 1.5-2" of overlap

As you can see in this picture is a comparison of the Gen 1 and Gen 2. Gen 2 is on Top and the Gen 1 is on the bottom.

Here is a picture of a different angle of the headers. Gen 2 is on top and Gen 1s are on bottom. Looking at the Gen 2 you can kind of see the dual ball joints, better pictures later in post.

The O2 sensor is in a better location. Gen 2 on the left, place the O2 sensor about 1.5-2" high and about ~10 degrees more towards the front of the engine

Front header back side/engine side. Gen 1 on left, Gen 2 on right. On the Gen 2 here is where it is a lot different, as you can see one of the ball joints.

The Rear header is still the same with the exception of the longer secondary and the new ball-joint.

Here is the y-pipe Gen 2 is on top, Gen 1 is on bottom. The pipe was completely redesigned. The Y-piece or junction is new. As you can see at the ends of the Y is the other half of the ball-joint, and a solid connection on the Cat half. (I think in the future, I'm going to get a new Y made up with equal secondary and a flex pipe).

Alright, a close up of the connections and collectors. Gen 1 on the left, Gen 2 on the right. The connection is about 3" longer on the Gen 2's.

INSTALLITION: that went very well, quicker to install the headers than it was the Poly motor mounts and fuel filter... Of course PS still supplies you with the same crap ass paper gaskets, it has been about 4-5 days and the paper gasket between the Y and Cat is already blown out.

FITMENT: everything fitted up good except for one spot. The Y pipe on the front header side is about .5-1" to short. But its an easy fix, tighten the bolts all the way run engine for 30 minutes, bought some short bolts and did the same thing (compared to what I had a problem with before, rear header, hit the cross-member).

CLEARANCE: front O2 sensor is easier to install. Oil pan has about 1/2" of gap now, after playing around with the angle of the flanges.
