This car, a 1979 Camaro Z28, is the car that got me started into racing...going to the drag strip and coming home watching him race on the strip then watching my him race and play cat and mouse with his friends was too great. Dad purchased the car before we moved south since it was the one thing I had to have to bring with me. Anyways this car has about 660rwhp (w/o nitrous) and its been lightened up a good bit, all the re-bars and such are gone.

Theres a Chevelle maybe 5 feet behind the rear bumper...and yes the front wheels are off the ground. And yes those are DOT Radials...

This was taken in 2001 at a big drag race in ATL,this run proved the car ran at a 9.87@134mph, since then we've removed the 383 and dropped the new engine in, and put legal tires and Weld rims on it.

Sick camaro. Love the way you have it put together. Come and check out mine. I also had a question its time for my transmission to be rebuilt and I was thinking about either replacing with a t-10 4 speed or just rebuilding. Im also looking for a good clutch. Any suggestions would be great.
