Here's the story:The Truck is Stock'79 Canyon Red color. I have always liked the Factory Macho Paint jobs of the 77-80 Dodge Trucks. And the cars of the 69-71 Ply-Dodge Muscle Cars with the satin black hoods. So when I was doing some paint surface rust repair to the cab top/back, I decided that the satin black would set it off better on the cab top and have a similar (not close) look like the Macho Trucks. Having this truck with the custom black bed cover it made the colors come together.

Hey that sounds like something I might have done. The way it turned out looks great and looks like it could have been factory original.
