Prospect62's 1987 Plymouth Gran Fury

This is my Gran Fury. Purchased for $500 on July 31, 2010 in southern Pennsylvania near the City of Chester. It has a 5.2L 318 V8, a Chrysler 7 1/4 rear end with 2.24 gears (I think) and an A904 transmission. Not a spot of rust anywhere on the body and the undercarriage looks like a car with 20,000 miles on it...not new but clean. For a guy from the salt belt, this is shocking. It needs paint and hopefully by this time next year it will be painted. It doesn't NEED anything but paint.
I'm planning an upgrade to a four-barrel carb (intake, too - obviously) and Mopar Performance Ignition. Maybe a Canadian Y-pipe mod down the road.
I'm also trying to piece together Moapr Police rally wheels and other AHB parts, if you have any for sale please contact me.
More to follow as the restoration continues...
Update March 2011 - I have purchased a Carter AFB 4 barrell carb, Holley Streetmaster single plane aluminum intake manifold and a compact HEI style electronic ignition distributor over the winter. Getting ready to start the process of taking off the factory ignition system and lowly 2 barrell carb. Hoping the swap makes a nice difference in power. I'm also working on adding a freeer flowing exhaust. Stay tuned...

How it looked in the fall of 2010 before going to sleep for the winter. More to follow.
