Just decided to mess around and paint the covers Gold. The intake manifold cover is still in the process as I type this. But I couldn't wait to show y'all... let me know what you think. Rate & Comment please!

Man I just installed my TSX aftermarket header. Probably the longest that took for me to install haha. Came home from work, and went straight to working on this. Took me a good 4 hours working BY MYSELF! Anyway, I purchased JapSpeed header for the TSX, and customomized it to bolt on to the Accord. Reason why I used a TSX header is because the aftermarket mods for the TSX is probably always bettet then the Accord, since they need better air flow and produce more power throughout the power band. JapSpeed is a performance brand from Japan, great quality work and great performance gain, better than DC and almost as good as Comptech but for 1/10 the price haha...

Alright, now for some performance mods. I recently bought a TSX intake manifold, Hondata heat gasket, AEM cold air intake (had to customize it because I needed one with a MAF sensor) and I bought a test pipe.

I installed the AEM cold air intake first. I must say the car felt way more powerful than it at first. It also sounded real aggressive. Got a lot of throttle response from it.

Next mod was the test pipe. Now to just let everyone know, it is NOT street legal, you will NOT pass emissions/SMOG test with this on. And if a cop does catch you, you will be rewarded with a BIG FAT HUGE fine. But I put this on every now and then when I feel like messing around. With this mod, you can definitely feel it at top end. The car screams when I gas it. I say this mod is great for freeway fun.

Now I just installed the TSX intake manifold and Hondata heat gasket a few hours ago. I will honestly say, that this particular mod gave me the most performance gain so far. I literally feel the power and sound from throttle to gassing it all the way. My car actually pulls my neck back a little bit hahaha.

Here are some pics of the process: (Pics taken on 9/21/2010)

(Side by side comparison, you can clearly see that the TSX manifold is wayyyy bigger)

(You can see the blue gasket. *these gaskets are used to reduce heat when travels to combustionchamber, these can reduce heat up to 50-60 degrees. Getting colder air = more power)

(At last, 1.5 hours later, it sits quite well in there)
