1978 Ford F-250 "Snow Fighter" Edition
This is my 1978 F-250 Snow Fighter Pickup. It's a restoration project between my father and I, and it needs a whole lot of work. It was used by a Taxi cab Company for 20+ as a yard truck (That's why the push bumper is there) and a plow truck. It's had a rough life and it shows, with only 73k on the clock it needs a new bed, cab, and frame. The reason we bought it is for the Snow Fighter benefits, Dana 60s (front and rear), NP-435 transmission, and a 400m that runs like new.
Here's a few more pictures of what it looked like when we first bought it, it had not been registered since 1981 and I had the original title to proove it.
Since then I have cut the bumper off, picked up some 1970s style Deitz plow lights (the round ones) and picked up a 1979 F-250 parts truck that will be donating the cab, bed and frame to my Snow Fighter!
