CPTthugE99's 1997 Chrysler Sebring

This is how my car looked the day I bought it. Pretty plain huh?

CPTthugE99's 1997 Chrysler Sebring I painted the speaker grill on the Driver Side door and the cover on the upper right side just to see how RED would contrast with the interior. It stood out a grip, so I liked it.

BTW, if you are even beginning to think about doing this, MAKE SURE YOU USE VINYL PAINT that is made to CHANGE THE COLOR OF VINYL and NOT "TOUCH UP" the existing color!

CPTthugE99's 1997 Chrysler Sebring I know it looks all junky, but having to strip the door is the ONLY WAY you can get into all of the door's contours. After having removed all retaining screws, BE VERY CAREFUL when you are prying off the door because the door locking mechanism has a plastic holder that can be easily broken (IT ALMOST HAPPENED TO ME) *wink*

This is the end product of about 4 hours of work. Seem like a lot of time? Foo, you try to take EVERY LITTLE PIECE out and paint it with 3 coats of VINYL PAINT!

SO FAR, WORK TIME = 4 HOURS

I am going to my '98 Sebring Convertible's interior the same exact way. I'd already started painting some of the parts when I saw your pics. I'm glad that I can see what it looks like before I finish. It looks HOT!!! Keep me posted if you do any other mods. PEACE!

Damn dude, nice whip. I'm getting a Sebring Convertable from my sister for free, all i gotta do is get it diagnosed, figure out whats wrong with it, it doesnt start... They lost the keys to it, so i gotta get new keys, new battery, possibly new engine?
