jakewitdelk's 1971 Chevrolet El Camino
More info and pics to come soon...
hopefully!
My name is jake. I'm the owner of a 1971 el camino. Its flat black and has air bags in the rear, Thus resulting in such a stance the reminds the owner of ow much potential it has. I have made some changes since i've had it. For example : Edelbrock valcover and intake dress up kit . New distriburtor and coil, starter, numerous gaskets, waterpump, transmission mount, engine mount, exhaust from worn out glasspack to flowmasters. I have remove that worthless tank, I've also got a tunnel ram that looks sick even without the supercharger that i do not have yet. For many reasons. I have a holley 650 single pump electric choke. The bottom fothe header have dent from the previous owner driving it over speedbump. It is my only car and is driven daily at least 20-35 miles a day. The odometer reads 9000 right now but thats obviously not right, however the upside is it does work. air bags hold air very well for such an amature job. The shocks were very poorly supported but have since be slightly enforced for temporary purpose until i can afford the right stuff. Its ny babie and I love her. She is my second car ive own. I bought her for a $1000. It was a great find and i worked him down from $2000 when it was steal anyways so i felt some what bad. It did drive from the city of Prattville to Montgomery the day i bought her. It made it to my house where it sat broke for a couple months. She has a beautiful destiny so don't worry. I doubt I'll ever sell her.
