This is my Ranger. I've owned it since 2001, came with only 5K miles on it. After getting it, I've put many many more on it, torn through a field and banged up the bumper, and tore off the velance, and rolled it on it's side taking a turn too wide. I've decided to fix it up a bit, and make it more useful for what I do with it. I like to Off Road, hunt and fish, and drive the backwoods in general just looking around, sometimes to find little spots most folks don't go. This truck is also my daily driver, and a work truck. Keeping that in mind, I set out thinking of how to build my truck up. I want it to turn heads a bit, nothing too shiney, but nice. Moderate off roading is also what this truck should be capable of. I decided against an axle swap. It's expensive, and I'd rather save that for a truggy. This truck isn't gonna be wheeled that hard. For now, I'll leave the 4.0L V6 in it. I may later on put a 302 in it. We'll see. I will almost certainly be doing a coilover conversion, getting rid of the torsion bars. But, on to the rest.....So far I've done a 60/40 to Buckets conversion.
