MNspecV's 2008 Nissan Sentra seR Spec V
BLACK DAHLIA
This is my third spec V since 2004. Yellow 2004, Red 2007, Black 2008. First things first, some new shoes, Motegi 17" flat black/red lip.
Removed the grill, no primer, just a little sanding, 3 coats of flat black rustoleum Fusion, 3 coats of flat black urethane for added protection. Turned out better than i imagined. I've paid for work this good on other cars.
Debadged the rear except for the Red "R" I like the red theme(seat belts, Lip on wheels, seat stitching). I will be removing the Nissan hamburger from above the license plate and painting it flat black and reapplying. I would like to not have the badge, but some genius at nissan design decided to drill two holes in the trunk behind the badge to help hold it in place. Dont want to deal with the whole filling of the holes and repainting thing for one badge. Definitely looks cleaner though.
had a little accident this past winter, WOOPS!! Nothing crazy, just small crack on bumper cover and popped tailight out. Damn snow! Put tailight back in place but still need to fix bumper. Sometime this summer will be fixed.

Added Window TINT F:50% R:35%.
Would of liked to do darker all around, but tint tickets are handed out freely around here. I may have the front removed and dropped down to 35%. 50% just isn't dark enough especially with the black tint on black car contrast. I still like the way it looks much better than before.
Added some new eyes just last week, 8000k HID headlights. Did not go HID for fog lights, instead went with NOKYA hyper yellow 55W fog light bulbs. I am very satisfied with them, the color looks awesome, very bright, and the contrast of the blue hue of my HID's with the Yellow fog light looks awesome on the road. I would like to darken up the headlights by either replacing them or have a film placed over them in the near future. I would like to do the same for the tailights.
