tahoe's are fun projects, but take my advice! Wheel them gently as i don't and i have spent $15,000.00 in repairs/upgrades. not including lift/stereo/tires/rims, just in fixin man. So instead of a small bolt on lift (like mine) :( Do yourself a favor and go to a dedicated 4x4 shop who can custom fabricate you a long arm 4x4 suspension lift. it will cost way more to start with but you will never have to fix it!!! and you will dominate. also you should consider at least 35" tires but that is just my advice. check out my rig for ideas for yours.

amen to wheeling gently, it can look like the nastiest beast in the world but at the end of the day its still a 12-16 year old truck and unfortunately parts wear out, id rather not go down the list of repairs on mine, 230,000 miles haha
