got a overhead console and the sub roof rails to put on mine. took out a/c piece and am going to make a switch panel for up there for lights.
and here is the parts sub. had 285/75/16s looked good. heres a pic of a rail less suburban if anyone is wondering what it looks like
here are my new clear corners my buddy on page 5 gave to me also to put on her
front end before
front end after
next purchase will be some new marker lights and headlights.
have some marker lights on the way and will post up pics when they come and are installed.
took plastic valance off to clean and see how it looks without. looks taller without but i put it back on for now
new parking lights and sticker
stock top bottom new apc ones
going to paint bowtie like this
new sticker on side windows
also decided to do some work to my lights
before any work
taken apart to clean and sand
and finally painted
got em back together. look pretty darn good!
also did some work to the roof rails
primered and un primered. still need to get some bedliner for the cross bars

all of the rails and cross bars are done being painted. i dont think im going to put the sub rails on now so ill just paint the one on there now and add the other 2 cross bars
also got one of the wiper arms painted since they look like crap. still have to do the drivers side

seen you on tyf man keep up the good work
tahoe's are fun projects, but take my advice! Wheel them gently as i don't and i have spent $15,000.00 in repairs/upgrades. not including lift/stereo/tires/rims, just in fixin man. So instead of a small bolt on lift (like mine) :( Do yourself a favor and go to a dedicated 4x4 shop who can custom fabricate you a long arm 4x4 suspension lift. it will cost way more to start with but you will never have to fix it!!! and you will dominate. also you should consider at least 35" tires but that is just my advice. check out my rig for ideas for yours.
amen to wheeling gently, it can look like the nastiest beast in the world but at the end of the day its still a 12-16 year old truck and unfortunately parts wear out, id rather not go down the list of repairs on mine, 230,000 miles haha
flowtech shorty headers i got them from summit racing they are holding up pretty good so far, good looking tahoe man keep up the good work.
starting to look really good. keep us posted on how its coming along.
thanks man jsut updated it a lil bit. got more pics to put up. all mine are pretty old
