I've owned and driven a lot of european marquees over the years, but there is a reason you find so many BMW's at Track and AutoX events. They are well built and offer great performance right from the factory.  Now, not many people can afford to bring a 2009 M5 to the race track but, the e36 3 series (1991-1999) are abundant, relatively easy to work on, and have come down in price enough to make very attractive track day candidates.

This particular car a 1995 M3 had a salvage title and 210,000 miles on it when I purchased making it easy for me to strip and prep as I wish without a guilty conscious and saved some money in the process. The car was in decent mechanical shape when I acquired it leavying me to concentrate on other areas of improvement and getting it ready for track duty.

As it sits today:

    Suspension:
  • AST 4100 550/650 springs
  • Vorshlag camber plates
  • Upgraded shock mounts
  • Mason Eng front strut bar
  • X-brace
  • UUC sway barbarians
  • Apex Arc-8 wheels 17x9
  • Dunlop star-specs 245/40-17 square
  • 95mm wheel studs
  • 10mm spacers up front

    Brakes:
  • PFC direct drive rotors FF
  • PFC-97 pads FF/RR
  • SS lines
  • Motul 600 fluid
  • Bimmerworld brake duct kit

    Engine:
  • Intake/injectors/maf/chip
  • UUC RS-36 Exhaust
  • AA track pipe

    Interior/Safety:
  • Mostly stripped - carpet intact
  • Sunroof delete
  • Custom made 4pt roll bar
  • OG Racing 5pt belts
  • Corbeau FX Pro / FX seats
  • Corbeau side mounts
  • VAC floor adapters
  • Momo Mod 7 steerwheel
  • NRG spacer/QR
  • Jafster shift knob

Super nice M3. We had a green 1995 BMW 325i sedan from this generation. They are sweet cars, very sporty. 5 stars from a fellow North Carolinian :)
