At the beginning of March, 2010, I found myself deciding that it was time to part with the Mustang and move on to something different. I didn't quite know what that "something" was, but I knew it was time. By early April, I had the car for sale and it ended up going for the full asking price after being on the market for two weeks. Now was the fun part. I had been bouncing around ideas, but nothing really stuck just yet. I did, however, favor the ideas of a BMW 3-Series Coupe, a BMW Z4, and a 5th Generation Camaro. On my way home from selling the Mustang, I stopped by Sutherland Chevrolet to take a look at Camaros. To put things simple, I left that place about 3 hours later having no doubt in my mind that I would order a Camaro. On April 20th, I put the order in for a black 2LT with black leather (that was one hell of a 4/20). The next day, I drove about an hour to a larger dealer and looked at every color made on the car, just so that I could be sure on my decision (the dealer could change the color for several days after the order). After looking, I was positive - black was it. That was, until I drove out of the parking lot and a gorgeous Inferno Orange model passed me. It was the only color not displayed at the dealer. I fell in love. On April 23rd, I finalized the order for an Inferno Orange 2LT with black leather and black stripes. After a vacation to Florida, I came back only to find a brand new Camaro 2LT RS sitting in the garage. Also added were upgraded polished 20" rims (rather than the painted ones that are standard with the RS package), a sunroof, and more. My dad had gone back to the dealer and pitched in some of his cash on top of that from the Mustang in order to add some even sicker features. Needless to say, it was an awesome moment. I've been enjoying the Camaro ever since and in just several months, I've managed to put 11,000 miles on it. As you can tell, she's a joy to drive.
