Bought my 1999 Sport during the summer of 2002. I am in the US Air Force and stationed in Turkey and I was on leave at the time so I could not take it with me, currently it is located in South Carolina awaiting my return. There are no current modifications on it, when I return to the the states the first plan is to put on a lift kit and larger tires. I am a rookie at this so any suggestions will be welcomed. I was thinking a 4" lift with 33s.

dude...4" and 33's are great but those gaps are a good thing...gaps=flex room if you get the right lift and have a disconnected sway bar you will need those gaps so you dont hit the body and maybe mess up your tires...im just over in MB well have to bog together sometimes

Nice jeep. What kind of 4 wheelin' are ya gonna do? 4 inches and 33s should fit ok. I put a 4.5 lift on mine with 35s and it looks good but doesn't leave a lot of room for flexing. If your gonna mildly 4x4, 4 inches with 33s is fine! Check out my Rubicon to see what I mean. Later

Alright mate,You have the same motor as me and at the same stage of mods.I'm thinkin of that lift and tires for mine.I'm living in the middle east so advice is scarce.I'm also new to Jeeps. Some sites are not giving prices or clear on why you need certain assesories. So it's hard work pickin something.Let me know how you get on.. cheers
