The original hood was initially destined to be sliced, pulled upwards, and fill in the gaps, creating a "Power Bulge Hood" but I lost interest when I traded for the large cowl induction scoop.
What's a Hot Rod without a cowl induction hood. Functional? Absolutely! Finished? Not even close.
The fronts are 2006 Cobalt LT wheels with 205/40-16 Nexen 3000's.

Wow, I just realized how long it's been since I updated here. I tried leaving the stock rear end at first, it broke at 9/10's of a mile, right when the car shifted into 3rd gear for the first time. I have since swapped in an S-10 rear end that was given to me, adding ladder bars to control pinion angle now that the torque tube is gone.
I'm told the stock rear end can hold up to a carb'd 2.8 as long as you don't go with sticky tires like I did. I was running 205/40-16's when I broke the stock rear end.
