UPDATE!!!!!! ON NOVEMBER 21, 2005 AT 222,077 MILES...MY LUMINA THREW A ROD INTO THE BLOCK WITHOUT WARNING :( BUT! I LOVE THIS CAR SO I AM HAVING A NEW 3.1 PUT IN WITH ALL NEW PARTS ON EVERYTHING INSIDE THE ENGINE BAY. HOPE I GET ANOTHER 222,000 OUTTA HER.-----
IN JULY OF 2006 THE NEW MOTOR THREW A ROD AS WELL AT JUST 226,000 MILES, HAD ANOTHER ONE PUT IN FOR FREE UNDER WARRANTY.
AFTER 9 WINTERS HERE IN BOONE, NC AND 2 MORE FREE MOTORS UNDER WARRANTY AND CURRENTLY REGISTERING 247,000 MILES, I BOUGHT A NEW CAR, 2007 MERCURY MILAN PREMIER V6. THE OL' GIRL WILL BE MY BAD WEATHER/WINTER CAR. BUT AT LEAST IT IS STILL DISTURBING THE PEACE!!!! WITH THAT ONE CHAMBER FLOWMASTER.
There she is - 200,000. Next stop 225,000!!!!(PAST THIS ALREADY)
So my bro was driving my car when this kid backed into it with his F-150. Dumbass!
Here is what that dumbass paid for, a new paint job. Also got a new windshield outta him since mine was cracked. Had to paint the body side moldings since freakin' GM discontinued them..geez!
Here is a shot of the rear bumper. Hasn't looked this good in around 10 years. If you look, you can see the very small 1 chamber FLOWMASTER muffler...shhhh dont tell the DMV.
