RICARDO1990's 2000 Ford Focus
This car is still a work in progress but since I bought it in 2010, it has gone through many updates.
GO THROUGH ALL 5 PAGES BEFORE YOU CRITICIZE -_-
If you're ignorant and view just the first page, then OF COURSE it would seem like a mess -_-
I am co-founder of a focus club called FocusForce. Since we are still a new-ish club, we are focusing on members within the tampa-bay area so we could actually meet up at a car show. If you are interested in joining, here's out page:
More info and pics to come soon...
Bought the car for $100, previous owner fucked up the gaskets so we ended up putting about $1000 into fixing all the problems the engine had and now works fine
-DONE-2. Now going to be a JVC-R200
-DONE-3. Xenon HID 6000K Bulb HeadLights
-DONE-4. 15" Red Neon tubes for under the dash in the foot space and music sync'd. Along with Red neon wire to wrap around the subwoofers. :D
-DONE-Oh shitss I just got 2 12" LED strips to go along the part between the side skirt and the door. And I got some Neon EL wires to go along the front door panels and the dash will update with pics when i get them installed
-DONE-5. New Gauge face and bezel
6. custom rims.. probably 14" so I dont have to spend too much money on getting new tires since it costs alot for low profile tires and maybe they'll be BBS idk. give ideas on what rims to put on this that would make it look hot -Currently got hubcaps-
7. Custom muffler
8. MAYBE if I feel really crazy and want to actually do this, butterfly doors. lol
-DONE-9. Color the valve color to Red
- Part 2 - We ended up painting the air intake red just because. lol
So I was disappointed that my left door panel neon el wires arrived dead and the dash neon el wire randomly died, so I ended up replacing both door panel neon el wires and the dash el wire.. here's what they look like now
I ended up installing a capacitor for my subs
I installed a kill switch for my subs really just for the hell of it and I had installed one for a friend and decided to do the same
I started becoming innovative with my neon lights and for my LED strips, I added one N.O. momentary push switch for each LED strip. I placed them on the side of the dash where the door touches, so when the doors are open, the led strips are lit up. when the doors are closed, the led strips turn off.
quick video of how the switch works
I installed Xenon White Headlight LED Strips!!!

2/6/2011 - 2/7/2011
I put a new center console that has an armrest! I really missed the armrest and really wanted one so I found a ford focus that had one at the junkyard
2/10/2011 - 2/11/2011
I moved the 2 12" red LED strips from the front door steps to the back door steps and put 2 24" front door steps. The front led strips use the old switches on the side of the dashboard, and put 2 switches on the back doors to be pressed down between the door and the frame
I replaced the license plate stock bulbs with LED lights
I ended up removing the LED strips from my headlights and installed bigger and brighter LED strips. Now they are actually useful and visible during the day and not just for show for only the day
5/7/2011 - I finally got Tint on my car and here it is its 15% all around
5/9/2011 -I finally got a laptop and was able to take some HD pics of my car
Here are 2 videos of my neons pulsing to the beat of the music:
I painted all 4 of my rims to give it a custom look and heres how I did it
6/3 While working on the last rim, I also decided to do something to my hood I painted my own hood strips :D
So I finally got my LED bumper foglights
I got my new sporty focus grill and got it installed and it looks much better! but I still have
I finally got my custom black sidemarkers and I got them installed
I got my 48cm LED strips and I got them installed and I got my 15ft neon wire that I installed around the trunk lip and connected to my music interface
I got my two 10ft neon wires and I got them installed along with my new bi-xenon bulbs of which I can only use the low beams until I get the bi-xenon relay harness
I got my pair of 72cm LED strips and I installed them onto the roof of my trunk
I got my replacement LED taillight bulbs which light up the brakelights a whole lot more brightness and I took the old LED bulbs and put them in the front turn signals housings
Before - taillight
After - taillights
So I finallly received my final piece of my custom audio set today and I went to install my new custom audio! I was upgrading my power cable from 10 gauge to 4 gauge, the fuses from 80A to 150A, throwing in a distribution block since I was adding a new amp [Clarion XR2410] which would be powering all 4 of my custom speakers in my doors of which were going to be Rockford Fosgate P1683 with an RMS of 65Watts each

Hahahahahaha, your "custom" stereo looks like a 3 year old installed it. Every light you put on the car screams RICE!!!!!!! It is all poorly, poorly done. You painted your valve cover red(not your header) I guess you don't know the difference. Well you effed up a Focus, but at least it's an SPI, so not big deal. I'll make sure some of these pics go on to an autofail thread. Keep up the dumb-ass work lol
go fuck yourself ok? the terminology, if you even bothered to look through the pages, improves over time. This is my first car k? not everybody starts off a car guru, and yesssss, i realize i meant to say valve cover, i wrote the first page back in 2010. geez dude. But thanks for wasting your own time.
Nice ass work.
Nice work like da neons.
