E85 Conversion
It ran great on E85 for the spring and summer of 2011. Recently, the only gas station in Sumter, SC that sold E85, stopped selling E85. So much for that idea. I've re-jetted the carb, and it runs 89 octane unleaded now. At 10.7:1 compression ratio, the E85 worked better (E85 is good all the way up to 13:1 CR), but 89 octane is working out just fine for cruising. An octane additive provides insurance against pinging at full throttle.
