i have owned this car since august 1993, i paid 850$ for it and at that time had 79,000 miles on it. now its aproximately 270,000 and still rollin as my daily driver. i have done some custom mods, including converting the AC condenser to a massive transmission cooler. the engine cooling fan runs anytime the car is below 20mph due to a custon wind switch, i feel the running of the cooling fan most of the time has contributed to its long engine life. i have also removed all replaceable parts from the alternator and moved them to a board- see pics. in late 2009 i replaced the factory seat with 2 bucket seats from a 2003 ford explorer thanks to the cash for clunkers program. in october i also installed a bunch of guages - see pics. around 2004 i decided to start painting the car different themes, as a result its got alot of layers of paint. my main facebook page has all the pictures but you can see the pics as well at my myspace.
