BabyCorolla’s 2002 Toyota Corolla

The story of the "Roach" began in late October, 2006. When I picked her up, she had a mere 11000 miles on the odometer. She was garaged for most of her life and as a result, the exterior and interior were in pristine condition. Like some other cars, this one has been through its phases. It went through a chrome phase, a "black-out" phase, and is now in its current phase, whatever you wish to call it. I didn't want this car to look like the typical beaten and broken Corolla of NYC, so I'm doing what I can to change that.  My one goal is to transform this Corolla into a respectable and sporty looking compact sedan. Originally, only tints and rims would have been thrown on the car. But, as you will see, it didn't end there...  Update: OEM fogs, Rally Armor mudflaps, red grill trim, and removal of bumper moldings

Since the car was picked up, I have added: (I will refrain from calling these items "mods" as some do nothing to increase my horsepower [hahahaha, ricer!]. Therefore, "purchases" is my word of choice)Purchases:-Magnaflow 14829 exhaust with 2-1/4" piping-Injen SRI-Tom's Lip Kit (Ebay replica)-Rims #1 (16" MSW Type 11 with Yokohama Avid H4s)-Rims #2 (15" Konig Britelites with Falken Ziex 512s)-Tein S-Tech on KYB-GR2 struts (1.9"f/1.4"r)-Generic front strut bar-Prestige remote start alarm system-OEM foglights -BMW M3 lip spoiler-JVC head unit-Pioneer 6.5" speakers (front door, rear deck)-Tint (35% side windows, 20% rear)-Blackout headlight housing with Silverstar Ultra low-beams-Redout tails (Altezzas were removed)-Black aluminum mesh in grill, lower air dam -"S" badge, shaved trunk-Black caliper paint, blue engine cover paint-Blue instrument cluster lighting-Racing pedals (removed)-Auto Vent Shades-Glossy black vinyl interior-TRD plate frames, seat-belt cushions, badge on trunk and grill-Bosch rally horn-Ram air intake  -Roof visor-LED blue underglow [removed]-Audi-style headlight LEDs [removed] As for the future...not definite1. port and polish exhaust header?2. 2zz swap?3. coil-overs4. Hotchkiss sway bar setOther than that, I'm done throwing money into this thing! I realize that most of the work done to the car has been cosmetic and horsepower increase has been negligible with the addition of the catback exhaust and SRI. Even though "built>bought" and it would be nice to drastically increase the horsepower, I plan on keeping the Corolla for what it is...reliable and able to get me from Point A to Point B...Perhaps a Sti in the future ;) ? Thanks for checking the car out!
