READ THIS DISCLAIMER FIRST! THANKS!

Please do not take any of the pictures that I have personally taken and post/use them anywhere else on the internet without my permission. Thank you.

Also if you have any questions on to where I got something (i.e. clear corners, soft top, etc...) please read first before you ask. All that information I have posted on here.

Please rate me!

Hey, thanks for checking out my truck. It is my most favorite thing that I own and I take pride in it so please don't be cruel. :P

I am 23 years old and live in Gilroy, CA. I go to Evergreen Valley college in San Jose. I'm working on getting my AS in Drivetrain and Chassis.

Now onto the good stuff!

Update on my 393 Stroker on Page 7!

5/4/06

Finished getting my truck back together. Has new rear axle seals, brake shoes and hardware, roll bar in, and soft top on. Just needs a bath now. lol

The tool I ordered to help drill out that damn pinion shaft lock bolt and so I wouldn't damage the carrier. Worked extremely well and I got it out in about 5 mins. Also the pinion shaft and C-clips on the right.

After I got the seal out. Damn those fuckers are in there tight. I didn't have one of those special tools to press the seals back into the axle so I used a 2x4 and a sledge to pound it back in there. The bearings looked good as did the axle shafts so that was a relief. Would've been a bitch to pound out those bearings. I don't have alot of specialty tools. lol

New shoes and hardware. It needed it too. The one side with the axle leak had everything covered in gear oil, and the other side was full of mud/dirt and the shoes were pretty worn down. Yes, I know that bottom blue spring is in the wrong hole in the pic but I fixed it. :) Also bought a tool to help get those springs on and off. I don't know what I would have done without it!

Painted my differential cover blue. It was either that or black ('cause that's what I had) so I decided to give it a little color.

Some shots of the roll bar in. I'll get some better ones later. Was pretty hard to get it to fit in there but I got it after some struggling. :)

Like my taped up padding? lol It's only like that 'cause I originally wasn't going to have any on the top of the bar. I think it will be in the way of the hard top. But since I have my soft top on and will have it down too, I was thinking that the top of the bar would get hot and when people would grab it they would burn their hand. So yeah.

My truck is down for the moment. The axle seal on the drivers side was leaking out the drum as a result of mudding at Hollister Hills (I forgot the camera! Doh!) so I wanted to replace the seals on both sides. Got fucking gear oil all over my brake shoes so I have to change those as well. Grrr. Anyways, that stupid pinion shaft lock bolt broke inside the carrier so I couldnt get it off. You cant take anything else off without getting that stupid bolt out. So I ordered a special tool that will hopefully be here soon to help me get it out. Hope it works as good as it says. If not then Im fucked. Ill probably end up destroying the carrier trying to get it out. :p WHEN I get it out I'm also going to check the bearings and axle shafts to make sure they are ok.

Eww! Look at all that oil!

Here you can see the hole where the bolt goes through the pinion shaft, and me left holding half of the bolt. :(

Also I salvaged a factory roll bar from an 86 Bronco at PickNPull last month. Its actually called a sport bar and is more cosmetic than anything, but its better than nothing. :) All I have left to do is pad it and put it in the Bronco.

Heres how it looked the day I brought it home. Showing some rust, faded paint, and old cracking padding.

tmwalmart's 1991 Ford Broncotmwalmart's 1991 Ford Bronco

I sanded off most of the rust, hack sawed off all the old stripped hardware, bought new stuff, and JB Welded some of them on. As you can see, I added some hooks that are JB Welded and have a nut fastened to the other side to hold it good. Theyll be useful for when I haul my quad in the summer and need someplace to tie it down.

And heres how it looks as of today. Just need to put the padding on.

Also picked up a new antennae at PickNPull 'cause the evil trees at Hollister Hills snatched mine right off. lol

NICE TRUCK! I just bought the same one! I see you got the softop for it... Question for you, with the soft top installed can you still put on the hard top or do you have to completely remove the softop in order to do so?
