What I have here is a 1963 Rambler Classic wagon. This is the condition it was in when purchased, non-driving, semi-running and in need of a almost total restoration, but truly a somewhat solid car for it's year and the engine had just been rebuilt, but the electical and carburation needed attention as well as the body needed restoring and painting. As you can see, I have several cars and felt I needed a parts hauling vehicle, I thought maybe a truck or van, but considering that I really enjoy older cars, I decided to look for a old wagon and this one fit the bill for my needs. My goal was to make myself a daily hauler that looked good from 10 feet, was dependable to drive hundreds of miles and try to bring the whole restoration in for UNDER $2000, excluding the cost of the car.
