Here she is on the way to her new home. We picked her up in August of 2009. Our plans are to restore it and eventually make it show condition, although that's going to take a lot of time and money. The odometer reads around 48,000 miles, and from what the last owner told us, he thinks that is the accurate mileage. The model is an S-17. It has new paint with a lot of pretty fleck in it. It also came with 4 new gangster white wall tires that aren't even on the car yet.New for 1952, this car has the 276 cubic inch DeSoto Firedome V8 Hemi engine which had 160 h.p. The transmission is the "Tip-Toe Shift" automatic. It has a clutch pedal but that is only needed to get into gear and from there it drives just like an automatic.
