This is where I post pictures of my car.

I love getting emails and questions, don't hesitate: nathan.epp@telstra.com

This is a 1987 Subaru GL 4WD sedan, which is a very rare car in Australia, being factory four-wheel-drive with high and low range and a final drive ration of 3.9:1. I bought the car in early 2003; one elderly owner, 60,000km on the clock. Being a GL spec it's fully loaded for 1987 with A/C, central locking, tacho, carpet (which was a big thing for Subaru back then!) and nice seats.

So far the car has got a 4" BYB lift kit (please visit Brett at www.ausubaru.com) and 27" BFGoodrich tires. I used to use speedy rims but I've actually bent a few so I upgraded to Scorpion custom-made jobbies, expensive but worth it. Here's a photo of the little girl with her new shoes and the alloy 'roo bar I got from a mate.

Some form of Kangaroo protection is very important where I live, I've probably hit 5 in the last year.

For a donk it's got a SOHC EJ20 out of a Subaru Impreza RX. I was going to go with the WRX conversion, but it would put too much stress on the part-time 4WD drivetrain as well as mean a whole heap more engineering hassles... and as the GL weighs 400kg less than a Rex, it goes just about as quick.

Plans for the future include upgrading to a custom 6" lift and a Toyota pickup live-axle coilover rear end with an ARB diff lock. I'm in the process of separating left and right front handbrakes and converting to a rose-jointed front end.

So sit back and see the pictures on the next few pages!

Don't forget to order your lift kit from www.ausubaru.com if you live in Astralia or www.ozified.com if you're in North America.

Awsome ride bro, I have an 89 GL Sedan 4x2 and would love to have a 4x4 model. I love the roo bar we call those bull bars here but thats because we don't have roos. I think it would cost too much to convert it to a 4x4 so I am looking to buy a 4x4 in addition to my 4x2. Nice Peace Out
