This is a 1984 SWB GMC but I like the bowtie, so now it is a Chevy (except for the title). I am only the second owner of this truck, but it was in rough shape. It looked like it had been sitting under a tree for a few years. It had a nice layer of green mold growing on it that was so thick you couldn't tell what color the truck was. The body was in very good shape. The drivers door had a dent in it and there was a small dent in the left rear corner of the bed. It was also rust free. I puchased it in Oklahoma City in 1997, and I was just going to put a nice paint job on it and maybe some rims.
One thing led to another and I am still making more and more upgrades.
I just got finished fixing the two dents I had on the drivers side and was on my way to get my cowl hood when OOPS. I came off the interstate did a 180 and hit a fence. Smashed in the pssenger side door and rear bed side.
Here are a few pics of the work in progress.

I just learned to use a mig. I was happy with my finished product.
