To see more updtades on that great car, go see celebrity89's pages; He's the new owner, he'll finish what I started back in 2006.
It's in good hands, so I have more time to destroy my Zuk in the trails, and more space to repair it!!

This is my Xtra Reliable ride,it's not the fastest, but it sure corners like Hell and stop on a dime!
All the mods on it were fabricated by myself,or they're from other GM platforms.
The front 1 1/8" sway bar is from a Lumina APV van.
The rear 7/8" sway bar was in the FRONT of my '75 Chevelle I had years ago.I installed it with bushings and clamps from another Celebrity cradle ,the end-links and brackets on the trailing arms were made by me.
The wheels are ROH 16X7,with 5" of backspacing, the tires are Goodyear Eagle RSA 225/50 super sticky rubbers ; the best upgrade to complement my sway bars!
The brake are factory HD (5x115mm hub) front discs were slotted by me at my job,and the rear were upgraded with Lumina APV stronger unit.
The A-body wheel cylinders were held with a stupid clamp; The APV cylinders are bolted to the backplates, and the drums are vented and thicker.
Pads are semi-metallic Raybestos
I could've upgraded my rears with 6000 STE discs, but the APV swap was not involving changing my parking brake set-up and master cylinder. It was a very straightforward job.
The shocks are Sensatracks at all four corners, springs up front are originals, still very stiff ,but on the rear,I upgraded with...Lumina APV again, even after I cut 1 coil from each springs, the butt is a bit high, but does'nt drop at all now when the trunk is loaded and people on the back seat! But I will cut another coil when I have a chance later...
Then I will install those 1" rear spacer I made without cutting the tires on the fenders...
Those wheels fit the wheelwell nicely!
My plush interior has not much to say, no cracks, no tears. I just added an early Euro wheel, and made a nice lil' knob!
The heartbeat of the beast! A true masterpiece of Chevrolet engineering! A lil' V6, 60° between cylinder banks, displacing 173 cu.in.
The mods performed the original mill consists of removing ALL smog junk, 1/2" carb spacer, early '80-'82 distributor with the in-cap coil; to add the Accel module and super Coil, trimmed air cleaner and free-flowing exhaust with Cherry Bomb turbo muffler at the back. (I installed a Glasspack muffler in place of the cat.converter)
This is my favorite custom part : a stock FWD 2.8 X intake, that I opened-up the plenum, sealed the EGR gallery with special aircraft epoxy, made an adaptor from a piece of 1" T6061 aluminum to install an Holley 390CFM four barrel carburator.
This is the intake in it's final form, sitting on a worn-out 2.8 in my garage, awaiting to be rebuilt with all the hi-perf parts available for the 660 engine.(they are plenty of them, some dirt track racer use the 2.8V6 on their race cars)
Now that I have great handling and stopping power; 250+hp is welcome under my hood !
