Welcome to my page that documents the build of my 1997 Mustang, which began it's life as a genuine rare SN95 Roush. Original mods from the factory included Roush specific upgrades such as suspension, 18" wheels, bodykit, side exhaust and some interior acccents including the Roush insignia on the dash and short shifter. I have never been a fan of the SN95 Roush and til this day think it was one of the most hideous factory tuner cars available in this body style. The project sparked my interest when the car was listed for sale on svtperformance as a terminator swap project that was neglected and abandoned by the previous owner due to having other priorities and losing interest in this long standing project. Click here for the original sale ad. The car sat for about a year in a car dealership parking lot where the owner worked and as a result showed wear on the exterior with flaking paint but otherwise had a good body and guts given the car only had 63k miles. After a few visits and mulling over the idea of undertaking such a project, I decided to take the plunge and purchased the car in March 2008. As the car sat, it was rough around the edges, requiring at the minimum new paint, interior and engine clean-up if I kept the roush theme. However, the positives were that it had a low mileage 03 cobra swap, brand new D&D T56, low mileage 03 IRS and a ton of bolt-ons.
