This is the page for my old 1987 Astro. My mom owed me $900 that she didn't have so she gave me this van of hers. She was the second owner and I was the third. It had about 60,000 miles on it when she bought it and well over 250,000 when I got it from her. It was barely running and frequently stalled out. It would lurch down the road at nothing above 35mph but there was nothing wrong with it... according to all the mechanics. So I did my research and requested a mechanic to install a new fuel pump which I got for below cost because they didn't think I needed one (how odd is that?) and surprise... that fixed the problem completely.
