Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

Am on holidays. Was so much stressed at work that i decided to have some days off. So i went for some days off, that is: Friday,Saturday and Sunday (I don't work these days lolz ) and Monday.As for Friday i spent the half of the day at me friend for the Centre Drive Shaft and met me girl afterwards. Haha. Lucky me. On Saturday, i sat home and was looking at me Sunroof. If you have seen some of me previous pics, you'll see that is is actually Black Color. Hummm,, Was not at all fond of it. So i got some papers, masking tape, paint and had the painting session started. haha......

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

Ok folks...Problem solved. Thing is the centre drive shaft needed some grease... :) My friend took the shaft off and have everything sorted out... The annoying sound was off and the car was running just awesome.Remember to grease these joints now there guys and gals... :) I had some stuffs ordered on E Bay. One spare key and the bootlid spoiler. Just received them and already fitted to the car.

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

Hey Guys and Girls.Being missing Cardomain actually and i thought i'd keep you folks updated. The car is running fine. I have been driving around bearing in mind the speed limits haha.I really enjoy the V8 engine of the bimmer. Soft at time and real angry whenever needed. And yeah, am still on normal mode! I have not tried the sport mode yet. :)Am having a small issue with the Rims and the Wheels.This is the Picture of my BBS Alloys that i got from Google Search.

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

MY FUTUR MODS:- Am going to have the car completely stripped and catch up all the rusted parts under the body. There are some minor rust i saw under the wings and front doors. - I wanna have the car re sprayed in Shining black just like Knight 2000. But am still considering as i find the white color fine.- Gonna have the window tinted in 45% in front and 100% in the back.- Have the brembo brakes stored at home, so they gonna get their way in by this year. - I sold my previous DVD Player and LCD. Am wanting some new stuffs with LCD in the headrests.- Small detail, but big impression, am gonna get the original mats and M5 logos on the ride.

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

Back in business.Being having a hard time looking for some after market wheels. I was getting only new ones which cost a fortune. I was really giving up and had decided to have all the BBS 18" replaced by some original steel rims, which i could easily get some wheels to put to the car. So made up me mind and went for it. Just as i came by me friend ho owns a retails shop for wheels. he told me that he had some second hand wheels. I was like man, show me!They were the Goodyear F1 ones. I had 265/35ZR18 at the back and these ones were 245/45ZR18. Wha the hell, let's for for it and and got a good price for the wheels. Had them fitted the same day.

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

So, don't really remember if i did tell you folks, but i have been having the most terrible of issues on a car.My car was shaking! lolz.As soon as i hit the 60km/h i just had the rear end shaking like hell. When we went to the root of the problem we noticed that one of the rear wheels didn't have the hub ring to it. I quickly started to look for some original ones. Couldn't get me hands on some so finally got one example made by a handman.

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

Just as it couldn't get worst. I was driving the car back from the garage after the exhaust was repaired and i just heard a big sound underneath the car. Crack Crack and that sound was driving me crazy.Each time i was accelerating the car, it would just go on with that sound. Checked the wheels, rings, tyre pressure, engine everything that could be checked and nothing. It was just getting worst.Brought the car to me friend mechanic then. :(

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

Some updates.You guys may remember me saying having some issues with the centre shaft and i that there were no bolts to the thing. Well, after that day i drove the car a bit and the sound came again. Went to a friend's place or you may call it garage. So he went under the car and he found out that the one of the bolts was loose on the car. He figured that i needed to have a new one. Hummm, Was i bit dazzled, but hell. When he tried to secure the existing one, the thing was turning on itself as if it had no gear to firm it up.Goshhh...Had to wait a bit, and i drove the car without one of the bolt. Was ok... Didn't sound that awefull. Finally got that bolt from the local dealership.Happy to say, it was not that expensive. infact i bought 2 just to reserve in case if, if you may understand me. lolz... The guys at the dealership, which i explained my trouble informed me that it may be cause of the centre shaft bearing and may be that thing that was doing the sound!!!!!

So, went out to drop me girl one day in the south of the country. Hummm not as long trips as you may doubt it was about 50km on and returning off. As I said before, wanted to have the Dual exhaust on me ride. like : _oo----oo_ . So, didn't have the small exhaust problem fixed. lolz. That damn thing just cracked under me. HAHA.Well it was time to have it changed. But no upgrades actually. I had the original exhaust system fixed and needfull repairs.

Another Reekesh 1994 BMW 5 Series post...

Small point out: You will see me car on stand and me friend's Bimmer. Infact a 525 fitted with an M60 V8 4000cc and M5 bodykit imported from UK and 18" chrome alloys. Nice!!!!.So, we had a quick test drive and he thought that it was the hand brakes. Eine!!!! He said that the hand brakes trigered another another set of brake pads and that maybe going wrong!!!! Good Lord, the thing was that the bolts that are situated between the Center Shaft to the rear drive train, the ones which hold both together was all missing. All 5 or 6 of them!!!!! Trying to figure out how???????? And how i was able to drive like that for so long????? :(:(:(Still, got some bolts and tightned them firmly and the car wwas running smoothly. :):):)Still, need to get some new wheel and wheel balanced and have these small shakes away. Here are some pics of me friend's car and mine. So good......

- finally, the one thing that am dreaming of!!!!! I want some dual exhaust at the back. That is, twin 3" Exhaust on both sides. Quite impossible as there are no space in the right hand side. But we gonna see.So here i am, next time i edit my page, am gonna have the new pic of the rebuilt car uploaded. Her is a tof of my ride i just took one day. I find it Awesome. I love ya bimmer.
