MDNANGL is short for Midnight Angel, my 64 Fairlane Sport Coupe drag car. I run a 68 302, with home ported 68 open chamber truck heads (believe it or not), Offy Port-O-Sonic intake and a Autolite carb (another believe it or not)

and home built headers. Behind the motor is a ATO built c-4 with 3500 stall (for nitrous)or 5000 stall (for just motor). I run 4:86's in the rear with mini spool and ladder bars.mdnangl's 1964 Ford Fairlanemdnangl's 1964 Ford Fairlane
Iv run 11:80's in street trim thru the mufflers on street tires (M/T Sportman Pro's) and low 10's to high 9's on the bottle (also thru the mufflers and M/Ts). Not bad for a motor built back in 1982 with about 9.4 comp. and all stock bottom end (crank and rods).

Well, the rods have been polished, shot peened and fitted with ARP rod bolts and the crank was treated to a few tricks. But hey, they are still 68 stock parts!! ;)

And by the way, I DO drive this car on the street, with the tear drop hood of course!!

Check out www.midnightangelracing.com and I have a NEW forum with mostly 64 Fairlane members..but the forum is open to all makes and models

Also in the forum, Iv posted pics of my NEW "MDNANGL 2", another Sport Coupe with chopped top, sectioned and channeled body. Its in the "build log" area!!
