My car is a 1991 Honda civic hatchback std. The car is as basic as possible. It was orig. a 1.5 4spd car without power steering, tilt wheel, rear wiper, power windows or locks, no sway bars and all time favorite... no right side mirror.

I bought the car in sept of 2001 after wrecking my 91 grand prix. In Feb of 2002 I had enough cash to do an engine swap in the car. I did the swap on my spring break in just under 20 hours (my first swap ever). soon after right before my graduation in june I had a retainer break and a valve drop into the cylinder causing a very shitty day for my piston. The car went into storage, I couldnt afford anything since I was leaving IN for IL to go to college. The car sat in a barn for 9 months until I had enough cash to perform the second swap, another b16.

mods:
b16a J1 tranny out of a jdm integra xsi.
custom intake
custom 2.25 exhaust back to a flowmaster
fuel rail
B&M fuel regulator
Crower titanium retainer
Crower dual valve springs
Supertec S.S. valve springs
port and polished intake manifold
port and polished head
aem alt. underdrive pulley
Zydene ecu
Hasport wiring,mounts and linkage
Act clutch
Kyb shocks
full bushing set
Tein S-tech springs
Motegi mr12 16 inch
Yokohama avs es 100's 205-50-16
JDM integra leather steering wheel
all work has been done by me with exception of installation of springs valves and retianers

Nothing but the truth

aim...mattb16a1civic IM me

update:july 19th 2003

The car is being taken apart. It has a minor miss and is stuttering throwing codes etc. I did a CLT test and confirmed a bent valve only 3%leakage but its enough. I also found out that the leak through my number 3 cylinder has become even larger from the 5% two months ago to a now 23%. ordering new pistons and rings still oem but ctr's and some other minor things to freshen up the bottom end are in the works.

parts for sale: b16 head,b16 block, case and gears out of an s1 cable tranny, ac compressor for 91 civic, b16 exhaust manifold for b16,intake manifold with censors, b16 throttle body with sensors,2 b16 fuel rails,b16 injectors 240 or 250cc I believe, alot of other parts im me for prices and if I have anything else. If you are in Indiana im me and I can get you almost anything you need(swaps, whole clips, whole cars, jdm parts aftermarket parts etc.)
