Page XX : My other car, a 73 Celica track car!!
This is my 61 F100. It's a 292 Y-Block, Ford-O-Matic trans, Custom Cab. In all the years it's been in the family, I've never seen any other 61-63 (unibody) automatic pickups. This was my Great Grandfather's truck, that he special ordered and picked up new from the El Paso plant back in 1961. It was the company work truck from day one, and it has never been anything less than a work truck ever since. It was passed to my Father in 1985, and was just passed on to me in Fall 2009.
The pictures below are how it looks today. It has never stopped being a work truck. I think it would be wrong to do so. This is a testimate to the durability of old American quality, and still carring it's weight around the house is what it was made for.
