here are a few pics of the turbo install in progress...
here's the injectors installed w/ new clips

here's the manifold in on the car

now here's the 2 problems we're running into...
the flanges don't line up
the reason is because the turbo hits the firewall
here's the results of this

this is the first step we're taking to hopefully fix the problem. we're welding the exhaust flange directly to the manifold.

here's the manifold before it went back into the shop to get machined.

here's the intercooler mounted on the car

here's where i'm getting the oil feed

while waiting for the drill to charge to make our tap for the oil return, we decided to see how the gauge pod fit. its mean for a 95-00 model, but with just the slightest modification, its going to work very nicely.

here's the turbo mounted on the car

we started the intercooler piping

2 primered pieces and 1 painted and a close up to see the color

here's the rest of the intercooler piping on the car before it got painted

here's the bend that goes around the battery through the fender

here's the piping done and on the car

here's the downpipe...this was a little harder to fabricate then what we though

well, i finally got the car started last nite and OMG!! now if my thermal sleeves come in for a few lines, i'll be back on the road. i did get 3 pics before it got dark though.
here's the bov and FMU mounted

here's the final resting place for the computer. i couldn't get a pic of the fuel pump, but its mounted by the fmu, just under the computer bracket.
