UPDATES

7/3/03- replaced dome and map lights with red lights, put clear climate control knobs on (painting tomorrow) and just ordered my borla exhaust! can't wait to put that on! more mods to follow, i'll keep everyone posted.
7/4/03- painted the knobs red today. pics will follow when they're dry and back on the car.
7/7/03- ordered the brospeed tip for my exhaust today. hoping to have the exhaust on within the next few weeks.
7/10/03- the exhaust came in today. check back in about 2 wks to see if its on.
7/16/03- the exhaust goes on the car today. i'm running custom 2 1/4" piping from the cat back with a borla pro xs muffler and 4" brospeed tip. pics will follow when i get the car back.
7/16/03- the exhaust is on the car. great sound and you can really feel the difference w/ the new piping. more mods to come. check back for updates and pics of the exhaust on the car.
7/24/03- removed the intake resonator today. you can feel the difference. throttle response is great. hopefully intake will follow next.
8/4/03- ordered my strut bar today. it will be here within the next week.
8/10/03- ordered the intake today. should hopefully be here within the next week. also, the strut bar comes in tomorrow, so it will be on the car then. i'll have updated pics.
8/19/03- ordered the lower motor mount today. $50 and free shipping, can't beat that!
8/27/03- lower motor mount came in today. will be going on the car tomorrow when i wake up. still waiting for the intake to come in...seller's starting to piss me off, its been almost 3 weeks.
8/28/03- lower motor mount is on and love the way it feels. get a little better jump off the line.
8/29/03- shaved the side moldings off today. going to try and take the big emblem off the back sometime later this weekend. pics will follow here very shortly when the car is clean.
9/25/03- ordered a CAI from induction dynamics today. waiting for it to come in. pics will be posted when installed.
9/27/03- shaved the bowtie off the back today. pics will follow shortly.
10/7/03- installed my CAI today. pics are posted. the car definately feels stronger!
10/24/03- nothing new added to the car. things are kinda put on hold for a little bit as i'm heading to korea in april for a year. although, i will give you a hint of what i have in the works....JMTS or exploited racing turbo system will be purchased when i come back due to the ammount of money i will be making over there. the savings already begun!!
12/8/03- a friend gave me a pair of silverstar bulbs, so i put them in last night. followed the wife home and she thought i was an a$$hole cause they were so bright!!!
12/10/03- well, i made my first "major" purchase today. i took my first steps to getting boosted. i just purchased a t3/t40b turbo for $370 shipped to my door. granted its remanufactured, but from the looks of other people's turbo that were bought from the same person, they look new and they come w/ a 90 day warranty. pics will be posted when it gets here!!!
12/16/03- the turbo came in today. now i gotta start working on the rest of my kit.
12/20/03- today i ordered my intercooler. i got a 23.5x8x3 spearco race intercooler that can support up to 400 hp....just in case i want to build my motor up...eventually :) pics will follow
1/5/04- intercooler came in today and it looks great. pics are posted. also, my triple gauge pod was shipped today, so that should be in before too long.
1/8/04- gauge pod came in. i tried a quick test fit and i might have some fitting issues, but will work on it when i have more time available, also my manifold came in today. it looks nice and well worth the money.
1/20/04- my 1g dsm bov and autometer boost gauge came in the mail today. its the ultra-lite series and it looks pretty good in the gauge pod. also on the way is a silver greddy turbo timer, dynomax 2.5 in turbo muffler and a manual boost controller.
1/23/04- well, 2 more toys just got delivered to my door again today. my dynomax muffler came in. i only paid $30 (including shipping) and was a little cautious on what i was going to get, but i must say, it looks great and my greddy turbo timer
1/26/04- today my boost controller and my air/fuel gauge came in. also, i ordered a cartech fmu (part #2025).
1/29/04- today i ordered some gm supercharger injectors and my egt gauge. now all i have to do is play the waiting game.
1/2/04- well i got an email from gmpartsdirect.com today saying my order for my injectors was cancelled due to them not having them in stock. my question is....why would you offer sell a product if you don't have it in stock? according to gm, they're not even offering them yet also so i now have to find alternative injectors.
1/4/04- my egt gauge came in the mail today. also, my 2.5 in magnaflow high flow cat will arrive on the 6th.
1/5/04- ordered my msd pump today from summitracing.com and also 30# injectors.
1/6/03- the 2.5 in magnaflow high flow cat is here. i got it off ebay for dirt cheap and came here very fast.
1/12/04- today my msd pump and accel 30# injectors came in.
2/21/04- i ordered a set of goldline springs today off ebay. i got them for $88 so i couldn't have asked for a better deal.
3/1/04- well, as of today my turbo kit is one step away from being complete. the only thing stopping me is my intercooler piping which i should be purchasing here within the next 2 wks. also, my goldline springs and exhaust tip came in today. pics will be posted shortly.
3/4/04- springs went on the car today. i'm very impressed w/ the drop. struts will be coming soon to compliment the springs.
3/5/04- my fmu finally came in today, also my reducing elbows and oil flanges. i'll have to order a new inlet flange though because the one i got is a little too small.
3/10/04- well, after looking at my accel injectors, they are not going to work. i am trading them for a MSD DIS-2 ignition and i just ordered a set of RC Engineering 310cc injectors.
3/12/04- well, as of today i ordered the final thing for my turbo set up. i ordered my intercooler piping, sent out my injectors that i'm trading for the ignition. also, my new exhaust tip was shipped out and should be here any day. my install is slated to start on the 27th granted everything arrives before that (which it should).
3/17/04- my rc injectors and new exhaust tip arrived today. intercooler piping will be here tomorrow so everything is scheduled for the 27th...WISH ME LUCK!!!!!!
3/29/04- today is the day the turbo goes on. the install date got pushed back due to some scheduling conflicts. but today is the day and there will be tons of pics posted and possibly a few videos.
2/9/05- i never posted the date when the turbo was finished and i'm finally getting around to it after a year, lol!! the turbo was on the car in june of 04. but i do have another update. i just bought the rk sport upper motor mount. this is the first of many upgrades done to the car over the next year.
2/15/05- upper mount came in the mail. won't be put on the car until i get home in june.
2/18/05- just ordered my b&m short throw shifter.
3/12/05- ordered my koni yellows today. can't wait to get them on the car.
