This is my 88' Chevy Camaro.

Ever since I was a little I have loved cars, didn't matter what it was. When I started getting older my Dad always was telling my stories about the Camaro's, Trans-Am's, Monte's, Nova's, and all these awesome cars he had. Then one day he showed me a picture of an 84' Z28 Camaro.

The first Camaro I bought was a '91 Rs with a v6 5-speed in it got it for 900 bucks off E-bay. It ended up being a major p.o.s. and luckily the guy who owned it was nice enough and said if it wasn't what you were expecting we'll just say didn't sell under mutual agreement or whatever.

I bought it two days after I turned 16. When I first saw the Camaro on Craigslist I knew that it was going to be mine. My dad called the lady whos kid owned the car. As soon as we got there she was like "It doesn't run I think it needs a fuel pump." So we dumped some fuel down the throttle body and it fired right up. At this point in time I knew absolutly nothing about Third Generation Camaros and Firebirds. So I was pretty much stumped on looking over the car. Thankfully we got lucky when He looked under the back of the car and noticed the wire had been rubbed apart. So I went to get the money and ought it on the spot. And now I've had her for 3 years :)

Hey bud, thanks for commenting on my 91 RS. To answer your question, yes I just pulled my stock springs out and cut them. I ended up cutting a total of 2 coils off the fronts, and 2-1/2 coils off the back. I only cut a 1/2 coil at a time (which took me a while) but I didn't want to take off too much and have it sit too low. Anyway, good luck with your project!!!
