1965 Oldsmobile F-85
330 cid Olds
Everything stock.
Costs a whole $500 bucks.

Bought it off some old couple out of Homewood, IL.
They were the 2nd owners.
The original owners lived across the street.
They also had the original bill of sale.
Planning on going drag racing with it, but that 330 just wasn't gonna do.
Found a 455 Olds off Craigslist with a Th400 transmision for $400 bucks. It belonged to a guy out in the middle of no where in Indiana.

Then started the reassembly.
Now here's the best part. All this was already done to the engine, all I did was changed out the bearings...
.040 Over Pistons
C Heads (Best Olds Heads)
.465 Lift Cam, Isn't great but it isn't stock!
I found a '73 intake from a Olds Toronado and had blockoff plates welded in the crossover ports.
Traded 2 quadrajunks and a pair of bare small block heads for DOUBLE PUMPER Holley 650 and a 600.
God was it worth every single hour working over the past few months!

Now it's going to the Auto Body Shop at school, I get to work on it everyday for the rest of my junior year.
I was thinking about going black.
***December 6th 2009 Update**
Brought the car to school and decided that a frame off resto was an order.

We also had a problem with the engine, the oil pan was smushed a bit when we brought it home and we thought nothing of it. Now we see that the crankshaft hits it everytime when it rotates. That'll come apart later.
