Project Air ride:
Friday: Gutted the suspension and then We found out that the rear brackets were to small. So Mike Behrens fabbed some new plates up but they needed to be trimmed down a little to fit
Saturday: We hopped to get the plates to fit better, but they arrived at the shop too late. So basically all we did is I ran to Lowes and Bought MDF and I started to gut the dash for fiberglassing. Not much done
Sunday: Brian and I came in and fabbed up the trunk floor out of the MDF, figured out where to mount everything, Brian made a Valve stand for the trunk as well. Doesnt sound like much but it just helped us get all the small BS out of the way. Then i went home and I finished the reson and fiberglassing of all of my interior pieces (except the dash)
and then....
Monday: I am going in early and ripping the rest of my dash out, then we are having the plates fabbed up to fit right. All of the cylinders will be mounted and air lines ran and valves set up
Tuesday: We are doing everything on the electrical aspect (switches and so forth) and maybe if everything goes right it will work!!
and from there it is just making the trunk look nice, installing the gauges. Then from there... Evolution stage 3 begins, all new leather, finish the interior, and the Lexus IS300 paint!
