pengwayne4's 1966 Mercury Custom

Sold my 92 but will keep the page up because I was the one who did the work. Still like it but into older trucks now. Had to call this truck a custom because there is no category for Mercury pick up on here it is basically a Canadian version of the Ford but has Mercury emblems not Ford. Found out about this truck from a buddy. Nobody else wanted to take the time to go have a look at it (had to go by boat to see it alot easier than driving there). Took the time to go see it and bought it on the spot. It had a busted front brake line and that was the reason it was parked. The previous owner didn't have the time to work on it. We borrowed a truck and trailer to go get it. What an absolute billy goat trail to get there it was a good thing the truck was a 4x4 I don't think we could have even got there with a 2 wheel drive let alone trailer it out of there. Replaced the braking system and put in a new clutch had it on the road in a week for less than $1000 cost of the vehicle included. If you've ever seen the movie An Unfinished Life starring Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Lopez it is the truck that was used in the movie.
