Indy.Orange's 1970 Holden Torana

Here is my 100% original LC Torana 2 door S. This car has 30,000 genuine miles and was originally purchased by a lady during december of 1970. She was quite elderly and only needed the car to drive 8 miles a week on her trip to the shops. Sadly she passed away 15 years ago, her grandson sold it to a mate then I bought it off him 12 months ago. Amazingly this car has never been unregistered and still has its original plates, with Hawkesbury Valley Motors surrounds and a stencil from the dealership.

The car is Kashmire White in colour and after 39 years, this paint still has fantastic shine. The interior colour is Antique Gold and she runs a 161 with a column shift trimatic.

In my opinion this car has its value in being an unrestored original, and because of this my plans are quite simple. Since she has no rust at all, I am going to fix the two small dings which have had dodgy repair jobs and patch two holes that are in the front seat vinyl. I have had the original radiator reconditioned as well as the brakes, and this car could happily be a daily driver and look bloody good doing it! (don't worry I wont, I want to leave her millage low). This car is a testament to the build quality of our 1970's aussie cars and a fantastic example of how if you treat your cars right they can outlast you!
My other toy is a 1970 LC GTR in my favorite colour, Indy Orange. I am very much looking forward to bringing it back to her former glory over the next few years.

Hope you like my two torries!
