79powerwagon320's 1979 Dodge Power Wagon
This my 1979 Dodge Power Wagon. My grandpa gave it to me when I was 17 because he got a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 and at the time I had a P.O.S. Neon. This is now my daily driver and I love it.
About the truck...
It originaly had a 360 in it but my dad and my grandpa put a 440 in it about 16 years ago. The engine has been rebuilt and has a mild cam, ported and polished heads; Edlebrock 650 carb, valve covers, and air cleaner. The interior needs work which I soon hope to start (if anyone has a 94-01 front 40/60 seat for sale let me know.) I have put a sound system in it, I have a JVC cd player, Alpine 5.25" door speakers, Power Acoustik tweeters, 2 12" Kicker CVR subs, and a Power Acoustik 1250 watt amp. I am in the process of re-painting it. I am either going to paint it bright orange or white, comment and let me know which one I should go with. In the future I am planning on putting a 4-6 inch lift on it and running 35" mud tires on Mickey Thompson Classic 2 wheels. Thats it for now... will be posting pics of interior and paint process in near future.
