I took out the catalytic converter and rerouted it out the front of the rear tire. She s got a little NASCAR look goin.
The motor is in great shape for 260,000 miles and has never been rebuilt. The good thing is that the 5.0 HO parts are interchangeable. Also most of the pollution recycling system crap is gone to. I have really felt more power without it and get better mpgs. The tranny is auto with overdrive which was rebuild about 45 - 50k miles ago. It is a C6 Tremec.
Since it is broken, I gotta open it from the inside. Pull the metal rods in and push out.
