Jwhalen07's 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse

Well here is a start to my car..
It is a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse GSX.. I bought it in Aug 07 bone stock and lets say it is moving alittle faster since then. I will first say I hate rice.. I try to keep my car looking good without putting pointless mods onto it. Clean with nice rims is all a car need to look good in my eyes.. Dumb ass wings when your FWD and weird painted interiors are not my cup of tea.. Thanks for checking it out..
body mods/exterior: 97-99 "2gb" front bumper, 95-96 "2ga" talon "turbo twistie" side skirts, VIS oem style carbon fiber hood(painted white temp.), 18x7.5 rota grids, eibach sportlines (1.75ish drop), ingalls rear camber kit, 8k HID's, blacked out tails and side markers.

Engine mods/bolt ons/under hood stuff: Short route FMIC with a greddy type-s BOV, Force Performance Cast exhaust manifold, Holset WH1C(hx35 wheel) turbo, Bulls eye performance(BEP) bolt on hot side, rc 1000cc injectors, Walbro 190lph fuel pump rewired, Punishment racing o2 housing with 38mm TIAL wastegate(.7 bar spring) recirced, Megan racing 3in DP connected to a 3in Apexi catback, COP ignition(using intrepid coils), MBC. HKS 272s
Engine management: DSMlink v2.5, Maf-t w/ 3in GM maf ran in blowthrough

Interior: Bone stock slate blue(rare) leather interior, 8 ball shift knob i made, PLX wideband, Autometer carbon fiber boost, autometer sport comp oil pressure. Blitz turbo timer, Eclipse head unit with polk 5.5s and jvc 6x9s cross overs. 2 JL audio w3v2 10s in a power wedge JL audio box. Those are powered by a alpine 500rms amp..

I first started heavily modifing this car in June of 08. I bought a 16g and the FMIC.. I ran a 14.5 at 101 at 16psi.. Then I bought the maf-t and 680cc injectors and went 13.2 at 110 at 20psi.. Then I turned up the boost and installed the FP manifold and added some race gas.. Went 12.99 at the DSMshootout.. First 12 sec pass i have ever made. I then bought DSMlink and keep boost the same at 24psi and went 12.60 at 109..

I figured i about maxxed out the 16g so i went to a Holset off a dodge cummin 5.9l diesel.. I bought a bolt on housing for it and installed it.. Im at 24psi and flowing 42lbs a min.. DSMlink is estimating 430hp and 384 ft/lbs of torque on race gas and high 300s on pump..

11/3/09- I got a sweet deal on FIC 850s this morning.. 177 shipped and im selling my PTE 680s for 170... so 7 dollars for 200 more cc's of fuel!!!.
Im going to start tuning on E-85 now. I should be able to run 23 psi without maxxing these injectors out..
11/5/09- So i sold my 680s and i have rc 1000s in there now.. Im going for a MPG tank right now so ill tell you what this beast gets for fuel efficeincy
11/8/09- Installed the 850cc injectors and started tuning them..Way easier then the 1000s... Race gas going in this weekend after a base tune to squeeze some power out of itl
11/10/2009- Well the updates keep coming lol.. My buddy is hooking me up with some hks 272s for DIRTY cheap.. Less than half of one cam new for both of them... So i guess she will be cammed out now.
11/13/2009- Just got my quote for my all manley stroker build. She is almost put up for the winter.. Just enjoying the last few days of decent weather..
