This is my 86 200sx that I kind of got Stuck with. I traded a supra for her,she was supposed to be running and drivable. Such is not the case. She had a bent valve and some bad oil leaks , missing parts and other issues.  She does , however, have a decent body and in eastern Canada, thats rare.

I spent the last couple nights pulling the motor and tranny, now i just have to decide  what to replace it with! I'm not an import man, I like a little of everything so it will probably have a domestic powertrain, mainly for funding and availability issues. Any sujjestions?

Thanx man, She was a ca20e car. She came across the water from Japan in 1997. I know where there is a 85 300zx cheap for parts. The car is supposed to be running, I think its probably just a vg30e, which would be a good swap. it has a 5 speed too. I don't really want to put anything domestic in, but here in Eastern canada, Older imports are hard to find.

sick s12 man, i like the sleepy eyes. as for your engine swap, i think your best options are in nissan's vg series, as they have slightly higher power outputs than stock and everything should line up nicely. if you have the se v6 model, you should have the vg30e in it already, and if you have your mind set on a heart transplant, i'd put in either a vg30et (z31 turbo) or possibly the vg30de (z32 na). and if you really have to have a domestic powerplant, a sbc will work in just about anything lol.
